Sentrycs, an Ondas Inc. subsidiary specializing in counter-drone technology, has delivered its C-UAS solution to a German State Police department. The deployment arrives as Sentrycs prepares to launch its new portable system, Sentrycs Scout, at the Enforce Tac exhibition in Germany.
The system uses a proprietary “Cyber over RF” technique, also known as Protocol Manipulation, to detect, identify, and take control of unauthorized drones. Compared to conventional jamming methods, it operates without disrupting local communications or GNSS signals. Police units are already using the technology to secure large-scale events and protect critical sites. This allows operators to redirect unauthorized drones safely to predetermined landing zones.
Tal Cohen, CEO of Sentrycs, said, “We’re proud to support law enforcement agencies with operationally proven solutions that reflect the realities of today’s security landscape. Our deployment with the German State Police demonstrates the immediate impact of lawful, precise drone mitigation. With the launch of our new man-carried solution, Sentrycs Scout, we’re extending that capability to tactical units that require mobility without compromising performance.”

Sentrycs Scout: Portable Counter-UAS for Tactical Forces
Sentrycs Scout is a compact, battery-powered counter-UAS system designed for mobility, enabling rapid deployment in the field. Built for tactical and law enforcement missions, Scout provides real-time drone detection, tracking, and mitigation in a man-portable package. The system delivers actionable intelligence such as drone serial numbers and operator location while maintaining full communication network integrity.
Ruggedized for field operations, Scout supports a range of uses including convoy protection, border surveillance, VIP security, and infrastructure patrol. Combining passive detection with precise control capabilities, it allows teams to maintain lawful airspace security with minimal risk of interference.
Over the next 5 years, Ondas projects the global market for handheld counter-drone systems could reach $9.8 billion. This highlights significant growth potential in compact, field-deployable C-UAS solutions for defense and law enforcement.
